The 7 Best Dad Bods In Professional Golf

Of all the professional sports, none welcomes dad bods more than golf. For a sport that’s more about form and strategy than pure athleticism, it makes sense that professional players are able to carry around a little more paunch than other athletes.

So in celebration of golf, and dads everywhere, here are seven golfers who are making money as professional athletes, but who also could just as easily spend their Sundays on riding lawnmowers and grilling burgers for the family. We won’t dare rank these dad bods, because each dad bod is like a unique snowflake and deserves to be celebrated individually.

Patrick Reed

Reed won the Masters this year, and currently ranks 13th on the PGA. He’s known as “Captain America” thanks to his success representing America in team events, and he kind of looks like Captain America, if Captain America was a golfer who rocked a perfect mid-level dad bod.

Not toned, not chubby, Reed looks like a regular dude on the golf course. That is, if you know any regular dudes who have won $23 million playing golf.

Jason Dufner

This picture doesn’t really do proper justice to Dufner’s dad bod. This is a better angle. Dufner currently ranks 51st in the world, but he did win the PGA Championship in 2013, and he constantly wins the dad bod championship in our hearts.

Pat Perez

Pat Perez just looks like a golfer, the same way John Daly looked like a golfer in his prime. His dad bod game is almost as on point as his golf game, as he’s the 36th ranked golfer in the world and, as evidenced by this article, one of the top 7 dad bods among professional golfers. Marc Leishman is another classic example of a golfer who isn’t out of shape by any means, but definitely still has a textbook dad bod.
