Dad’s 9 Favorite Things About Summer
1) It’s grilling season. Encased meats! Burgers! More burgers! Corn! You name it, dad grills it. He’s the fearless father of the flame.
2) Aquatics. Only the friendly dolphin is more comfortable in the water than dad.
3) Lawn. Care. Season. The shrubbery will be Monty Python perfect.
4) School’s out, dad can take a few Fridays off to mold the kids into their best selves. And get lots of ice cream.
5) It’s road trip season. Are we there yet? Yes, yes we are with dad behind the wheel.
6) It’s a scientific fact beer tastes 27% better in the summer.
7) Sunburn > Windburn
8) All the big superhero/sci-fi/action movies are out, no time to waste seeing art house flicks.
9) All business meetings: on the golf course.
