Guilty As Charged: A judge lets a kid choose his dad’s punishment

Imagine you’re in court and the judge suddenly says, “Hey, let’s have your 5-year-old son decide your punishment!”

It happened to one dad in Rhode Island. For real. It’s one of those times you just have to hope you’ve been a good father. Otherwise, you could end up in jail (or just paying a heftier fine for your traffic ticket).

We admit we were hoping the kid was going to do his best Stallone impression of “I AM the law,” but it’s safe to say that movie was before his time. Check out the full story here from USA Today.
