Let’s take a step away from politics, for a second. Yes, we’re talking about Donald Trump, who has a lot of very loud people who like and dislike him, but this is not about Donald Trump. This is about Dad Tweeting. Specifically, how Donald Trump’s tweet sent Tuesday night that ended with the gibberish “covfefe” is how every dad tweets.
Let’s run it down.
1) If a Dad is tweeting, it’s likely that when he mistypes a word, in trying to select the auto-corrected word, he somehow sends the Tweet. There’s a 90% chance that is exactly what happened here.
2) If a Dad accidentally fires off a premature Tweet, he will freak out for the next few hours trying to figure out how to delete the Tweet. This Tweet was up for six hours before being taken down. Behind the scenes, we’re sure, were frantic.
And finally…
3) Once the Dad finally deletes the Tweet, he’ll try to make a Dad joke about it.
Bingo.
