The Evolution From Bro To Dad
As strange as it is to consider, most bros eventually become dads. Your dad, in fact, was very possibly a bro back in his heyday. That’s a thing only dads say, by the way. “My heyday.” But how does that process occur? We’re here to tell you. Here are the stages a bro undertakes before morphing into a dad.
Stage 1: College (Woo!) College (Woo!)
The proto-bro forms in high school with some basic traits. Drinking bad beer. Honing their beer pong game. Having “I love you, bro” conversations with your best bro when wasted.
But college is where the bro comes out of his cocoon. That’s where college is a four year party (it’s totally not, but that’s how you’ll remember it as a dad). This is the largest concentration of bros, babes, and beers that you’ll have, and your 21-year-old stamina can handle all of that while mumbling your way through Shakespeare 101.
Dad-dom seems impossible at this stage in life. Then, comes graduation.
