MOVIES & TV
Name the last great Spring Break movie you ever saw. If you answered any movie after 1989, then you’re automatically wrong. The big and small screens of the decade had no problem glorifying just how great Spring Break could be.
MTV entered the scene, with their first Spring Break special airing in 1986. This was the channel that was all about celebrating youth culture and exploiting it. (It also still aired music at this time.)
In terms of cinema, everyone from Nerds to even Rodney Dangerfield got to have a radical Spring Break. Movies and TV have never made it look as awesome since.
