We Just Lost Alan Thicke, One Of TV’s Greatest Dads Ever
Alan Thicke, best known for his role as Jason Seaver on the 1980’s/1990’s sitcom “Growing Pains,” has died at the age of 69, according to multiple news reports. Thicke, an avid hockey player (yes, he was Canadian) had a heart attack Tuesday morning while on the ice with his 19-year-old son.
Here at Classic Dad, we’ll always remember Thicke’s character for his fatherly wisdom, irresistible charm and general 80’s-ness.
