Sierra Nevada was one of the first major players to regularly appear on the scene when the craft boon really went off, and their Celebration IPA has been on the list of “well I know that I can probably find this at the grocery store at least” beers for years.
This selection is not without risks — it’s a Christmas-y feeling IPA, which means that on the likelihood that your dad has not yet converted into a hop head yet, it might be met with a “ugh, it’s so bitter.”
But it’s worth a try, if for no other reason than if he ends up liking it, you’ll probably have Torpedoes lying around in the summer.
