Glasses You’ll Only See A Dad Wear
The “Brick Tamland”
If you haven’t seen these large double-bridged glasses on a current dad, you’ve definitely seen it on vintage dads, especially if you’re looking at a photo from the 1970’s or re-watching Narcos.
They look almost like aviators, only they’re not sunglasses, and they’re not cool. If Tom Cruise was wearing the Brick Tamland in Top Gun, they would have renamed the movie Top Dad and it would have been about finding the perfect blend of spices for a steak rub instead of homoerotic volleyball and fighter jets.
