3 Of TV’s Most Underrated Dads
Father: Al Bundy
TV Show: Married With Children
At first glance, Al Bundy seems like the kind of guy that Child Services would have raided by now. On the contrary, this great man is actually one of the most giving fathers on TV. We learn that, as a women’s shoe salesman, working in the mall, he makes less money than a lemonade stand. Even still, he has a two-story house in the major city of Chicago, no second income help from his wife and gives money to the family in the opening credits of every episode.
He never eats, never has anytime to himself and he wouldn’t corrupt the children because he refuses to have sex with his wife. Then once you become a legal adult at the age of 18, he takes you to the place “where the beer gives you gas and the Bundy’s kick ass…at the nudie bar.” Now that’s father/son quality time.
