Nation’s Dads To Spend 3 Minutes On Their Feet This Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving around the corner, a recent report has determined that the average dad will spend an entire three minutes on his feet during the holiday. This is a slight increase from last year, when dads averaged two minutes and fifty three seconds on their feet, but is in line with recent trends.

According to the study, dads will spend roughly 75 seconds getting up to go to the bathroom, 15 seconds of standing time will be when they shuffle from their recliner to the dinner table, and back, with the remaining time being spent standing to carve the turkey.

It is estimated that dads nationwide will spend roughly 30% of the day watching television, 20% at the Thanksgiving dinner table, and the remaining 50% of the day will involve napping while football plays in the background. However, some experts do contend that if the NFL games are particularly boring this year, that final number could go as high as 70% by the end of the day.
