Dad Surprises Family By Taking Them To TGI Friday’s On A Wednesday

After promising a “treat” to his Long Island family, local father Frank Johnson surprised them with a Wednesday trip to TGI Friday’s.

“Honey, kids, look! We’re going to Friday’s! On a Wednesday! Isn’t that crazy?”

The trip was a surprise, both in the dad-joke friendly day of choice, as well as the fact that the family has gone to TGI Friday’s every other Friday for the past several years, and in fact had just gone the previous Friday.

“Pretty crazy, huh?” Frank kept remarking while ordering his usual, a Jack Daniel’s Burger and a side of potato skins for the table. He added, “We’re really going crazy here, completely out of left field! Friday’s on a Wednesday!” before ordering a Bud Light, the only beer he orders at restaurants.

While his family was moderately surprised by the meal, they added that it wasn’t nearly as crazy as the time he ordered delivery pizza on a Monday, instead of the usual weekly day of Saturday.
