Dad’s First-Ever Tweet Sent To @Applebees
After using his Twitter account to follow sports figures, journalists, and his children without posting a single tweet, 54-year-old father of four John Handers has sent his first tweet of the five-year existence of his account to the Twitter handle of Applebee’s Grill and Bar.
In his post, Henders, who has never uploaded a photo for his avatar, wrote, “@applebees love the artichoke dip whats ur secret 😀 i want to make it forthe super bowl.”
So far, the Applebee’s social media staff has not responded to the tweet, though Henders has been refreshing his timeline every ten minutes in anticipation.
