Man Can’t Wait For Blackout So He Can Use Generator

The next power outage can’t get here soon enough for Mark Chatwell, 44, of Chicago, Illinois.

“I’ve got 5,000 watts just waiting to spring into action,” he claimed, patting the new generator he just installed outside his home. “You wanna take a hot shower? No problem. Keep the frozen stuff frozen even during a blackout? This baby can handle it!”

When asked if he was hoping for a power outage, Chatwell tried to shrug it off.

“I mean, I wouldn’t say I want people to be without power,” he said. “Then again, if you’re not prepared for it like I am, you’re kind of asking for trouble, aren’t you?”
