Fan “Definitely” Could Have Made That Field Goal
Shortly after his team’s kicker missed a 31-yard-field goal, 29-year-old local fan Jason Rambles confidently announced that he “definitely would have made that.”
“No doubt about it, if you put me on that field, I’m making that kick,” Rambles told his friends and several nearby bar patrons. “Only 31 yards? That’s basically a gimme. What are we paying this joker for anyway?”
Rambles, who has never played organized football outside of a recreational flag football singles league, clarified that he doesn’t believe he should be his team’s kicker, “I’m just saying, that kick? I totally would have nailed it, that’s all.”
