Hoping to save Americans plenty of time and aggravation, the National Dad Council (NDC) has proposed a bill they want Congress to pass that calls for cuts of any kind to be preceded by a minimum of two measurements.
“You want to measure three times? That’s fine too,” said Bob Benson, a spokesman for the NDC. “But at the very least, we need to have two measurements. It’s the only way to ensure no mistakes are made. This law, if enacted, could save the country millions of hours of wasted work per year.”
The NDC has also suggested punishments for breaking the MTCO (Measure Twice Cut Once) Law, ranging from a $100 fine to not being allowed to use the miter saw ever again.
