Local Man Deeply Suspicious Of His Amazon Echo

Ever since receiving a brand new Amazon Echo as a Christmas present, local man John Wogman, 31, has been deeply suspicious of the device, despite setting it up in his living room.

“Yeah, I mean, I guess it’s pretty useful and stuff,” Wogman explained. “Like, it can tell me the weather outside, and set timers. But still, I don’t know, it’s kind of creepy, right?”

Wogman went on by saying, “Like, is it recording everything I say? Not that I have anything to worry about there, just like, it feels like it’s listening to me? And sometimes it activates completely out of the blue, which is super freaky.”

While Wogman plans on keeping the Echo, he added that it is not the only technological assistant he is wary of, saying, “Oh yeah, I don’t trust Siri at all, either.”
