Dad Insists On Saying “Beer Me” At Parties

Much to the chagrin of his immediate family, local dad Jonathan Lucas has taken to saying “beer me” at parties when requesting a drink. Lucas, who only recently started making this joke, insists that, “It’s funny, because it’s kind of ironic.” Most of his friends and family seem to disagree.

“Oh yeah, I noticed that he’s been saying ‘beer me’ a lot, instead of just going and getting a beer himself, or asking for a beer like a normal person,” Lucas’ neighbor Fred Gomez told reporters. “The worst part is he always laughs at himself when he says it. Like, it’s hardly even a joke.”

While Lucas’ insistence on constantly shouting “beer me” has caused many around him to roll their eyes, it is widely agreed that it’s still better than the brief period where he insisted on entering each room during parties pretending to be the Kool Aid Man.
