Dad “Pretty Sure” He Could Still Become Astronaut If He Put His Mind To It

According to sources within his family, 49-year-old father Johnathan Riggston decided to claim yesterday during a lull in the evening’s dinner conversation, that he was “pretty sure” he could still become an astronaut if he put his mind to it.

“Yeah, I mean, I get that those guys have to be in shape and be scientists and everything, but I think if I started jogging again, and hit some books, I could get myself in astronaut shape within, say, six months?” Riggston told his wife and three children, interrupting a conversation about the show Riverdale. “I’m not saying I could be an astronaut now, but I’m saying it’s not out of the question, you know?”

His wife responded by saying, “I guess so, I think there are some astronauts your age,” before changing the subject and hoping that this doesn’t become “a thing” for the next few months.
