Jeremy Cope, a 53-year-old father-of-two in New Haven, Connecticut, reportedly spent an entire afternoon unsuccessfully trying to add a song he downloaded to his iPhone from his desktop computer.
“No, I see the iPhone thing on the iTunes, I just don’t know how to tell the phone to take the new song,” Cope was overheard telling his college-aged son over the phone. “What do you mean look in the folder?
Cope, who had about half a dozen chores planned for the day, has instead spent six hours trying, unsuccessfully, to figure out how to change his iPhone setting in conjunction with his iTunes, both of which have software that is nowhere close to being up to date.
Despite his lack of success in adding the song to his phone, Cope insists he is not giving up, stating, “I really want to be able to listen to this song I heard at Starbucks.”
