Despite large patches of lawn that need to be re-seeded, as well as sections that still have residual snow, Sycamore Township, Ohio father-of-three Brett Cornington has spent the past week asking friends, family and coworkers if “anyone else thinks that the lawn could use some mowing.”
Cornington, who has not taken his lawnmower out since November of last year, has been observed going out to his backyard in order to determine if the temperatures outside are warm enough for the grass to have grown enough to warrant the use of his two-year-old riding lawnmower.
While Cornington has begrudgingly agreed that in the lawn’s current state, the mower would do more harm than good, he has vowed that he will do a “once over” of the lawn the moment the last patch of ice finally melts.
