Local teen Skyler Johnson has recently expressed frustration with his father, Richard, who has asked the 15-year-old for help with his “iTune” four times so far this week.
Richard, 53, apparently seems unable to figure out how transfer the music from his collection of hundreds of CDs onto iTunes on his 5-year-old laptop, and has repeatedly asked his son for assistance on the matter.
“I keep telling him it’s pretty simple,” Skyler told reporters. “Like, all he has to do is put the CD in the computer and iTunes pretty much does the rest. He literally has to press a single button. But he keeps insisting I do it for him. He has so many CDs, I don’t have time for this.”
Richard, for his part, has expressed gratitude for his son’s help.
“You know, I figured it was time to get with that whole technology thing, and I hear this iTune is the cutting edge for those, whattaya call ’em, MP3s.” Currently, Richard remains unaware of the existence of Spotify, despite his son’s insistence that “you can just use my Spotify account, dad, that’d be much easier.”
