Local Dad Keeps Asking What The Hell A “Bitcoin” Is

With reports of rising Bitcoin values in the news this past week, local dad Andrew Fairbanks has grown increasingly exacerbated at his inability to grasp the concept behind the digital currency.

“So what the hell is this Bitcoin thing, then?” he has been heard repeatedly asking his 15-year-old son, Ryan. While Ryan has a “pretty good idea” of how to explain Bitcoins, Fairbanks has become extremely frustrated. Fairbanks has been shouting questions like, “Crypto what now?” and, “What do you mean it’s got nothing to do with banks? That doesn’t make a lick of sense!”

Sources say this is the most confused Fairbanks has been about a concept since last winter, when his 13-year-old daughter tried to explain to him what being “woke” means.
