Dad Goes A Little Overboard With Halloween Decorations
After spending the entire weekend putting up dozens of fake tombstones, cobwebs and skeletons throughout his yard and the outside of his home, local dad Jerry Mankin begrudgingly admitted that he went “a little overboard” with his Halloween decorations this year.
“Yeah, I might have gotten a bit heavy-handed,” he told reporters while hoisting up a six-foot-tall plastic mummy. “But I just got into the spirit of the holiday I guess.”
Mankin has not disclosed how much money he spent on all of his decorations, but added that it was enough that his wife has had him sleeping on the couch for the past two weeks.
