After a relatively strong rainstorm swept through Raleigh, Virginia, local dad Brendan Summer has pinpointed the source of the storm—his decision to get his car washed earlier in the week.
“It’s raining today and that’s on me,” Summers told reporters. “We hadn’t had a drop of rain in two weeks, so of course the moment I head to the car wash, the skies open up.”
Summers says that, despite feeling like he wasted his money on the car wash, he does feel, “At least the flowers and plants out back got watered. They should thank me.”
