In a vote that was nearly unanimous, the National Dad Council has ruled in favor of whiskey-spiked coffee during all video conference meetings.
“This is both a historic and obvious ruling,” said Todd Benson, Chairman of the NDC. “It just makes sense for men to enjoy whiskey in their coffee regardless of whether they’re supposed to be ‘at work.’ But just as importantly, who is going to know? It’s in a coffee mug for Pete’s sake!”
Members across the nation applauded the edict, which merely formalized a practice that had been in place well before quarantine orders necessitated more video conference meetings.
“I’ve been adding Buffalo Trace to my coffee for years during all sorts of meetings. In person. On the phone. And now Zoom, too” said Frank Dabnell, a 45-year-old insurance salesman from Omaha. “It really gives my coffee a rich, complex flavor and a very smooth finish.”
