After a brief cold spell left local dad Ron Staller using the stove to prepare most of the family’s meals for four whole days, the 44-year-old St. Paul, Minnesota resident expressed relief when the outdoor temperature rose to 15 degrees, which Staller declared “grilling weather.”
While admitting that an earlier day with a high of 7 degrees was “just too cold to get the coals ready,” Staller declared the current 15-degree climate to be “just right for some grilling.”
Even though his wife has chastised him for going out in the cold to go grilling, he insists there’s no reason to worry about the low temperatures. “It’s 15 degrees, so I made sure to put on a coat. Don’t need gloves though, got to really make sure I get a good feel with these tongs, obviously.”
