For the 60th night in a row, local father of three Gerry Francis has decided to grill dinner for the family. Despite an unusually rainy season, Francis has managed to avoid the temptation of indoor cooking or restaurant dining, instead grilling meats and vegetables for the last two months straight.
Francis discussed this feat, telling reporters, “Well, you know, when it’s warm out, it’s almost a shame not to grill, that’s how I view it. Besides, the meat just tastes better cooked over a proper flame.”
Throughout the 60 days of grilling, Francis has cooked steak 23 times, chicken 34 times, and fish on two occasions in response to his doctor saying he needed “more good fats” in his diet.
