Dad Very Proud Of Dog…Oh And You, Too
After spending nearly two hours trying to teach the family lab how to fetch, Dad is happy to report that Sparky is a natural.
“I’m so proud of you,” he told Sparky in a high-pitched voice. “Yes I am. Yes I am.”
When he spotted you entering the backyard, Dad forced a smile and said, “Oh, I’m proud of you too, of course. Just, you know, because of the way…you, uh, well I mean you’re a great kid.”
He then proceeded to tell you all about how Sparky can now almost do a high-five. “Watch this!” he exclaimed, before attempting to get the dog to slap his hand with a front paw. “He can do it, I swear. You’re just making him nervous is all.”
