35-year-old Jake Benson of Austin, Texas recently slept for 3 hours and 8 minutes, which is the longest stretch of sleep he’s had since his son Jasper was born nearly a month ago.
“I feel like I can conquer the world!” Benson exclaimed, upon waking up and checking his watch. “Seriously, I am good for days!”
Benson, who used to sleep 7-9 hours a night, uninterrupted, has now adapted to a sleep-deprived life. According to his wife, he can mow the lawn on just two hours sleep and just last week was able to work a double-shift at the factory, despite only getting 4 hours of rest the night before (in three different increments).
