Local Dad Takes Summer BluBlockers Out Of Storage

With Spring arriving, and summer just around the corner, local dad Charles Friedland has decided to go down to the basement and take his summer BluBlocker sunglasses out of storage.

Friedland, who has worn the color-obscuring reflective eyewear ever since purchasing it from an infomercial in 2001, is rarely seen without the glasses during sunny, warm months, though he admits that it “doesn’t really look right for the winter.”

Now that the days are generally warmer, and more likely to be sunny, family and friends expect him to have his BluBlockers on him pretty much every day, hanging from the collar of his shirt while not in use.

“He loves those dang glasses,” his wife stated. “He refuses to believe he looks like he’s living about 20 years in the past. Then again, that’s most of his fashion choices, so I can’t be too surprised.”
