Dad Does Handshake Thing Where You Crinkle Other Person’s Knuckles

There have been multiple reports out of the Johnson household that Roger Johnson, the 44-year-old father-of-three, does that handshake thing where you crinkle the other person’s knuckles.

“Yeah, he does it all the time,” Johnson’s 16-year-old son Alex told reporters. “Like, you know the thing I’m talking about, right? He sort of crunches your knuckles up, like mushes them together? It doesn’t hurt or anything, it just feels super weird.”

Johnson has apparently been doing the knuckle sort of thing with his handshake for years. When asked for the rationale behind his handshake approach, he simply shrugged and said, “I don’t know, it’s just sort of funny. People get all uncomfortable about it. Anyway, wanna shake hands? Come on, put ‘er there.”
