Report: Dad Not Upset You Lost, Just That You Weren’t Hustling

According to a recent report just released to the public, your dad isn’t upset that you lost the championship game for your Little League baseball team, he’s just disappointed because you really weren’t showing a lot of hustle out there.

The report indicated that, though winning would have been nice, winning isn’t everything, it’s how you play the game that matters. And, well, son, you just didn’t play in a way that you should have been proud of. It’s okay not to get any hits, but you didn’t even run all the way to first base on that last ground out of the game. Did your dad raise a quitter? He sure hopes not.

Finally, the report notes that hopefully you’ll learn from this loss, and maybe work a bit harder in the batting cages before next year.
