Nation’s Dads Agree: Okay To Wear White Sneakers After Labor Day
According to a resolution adopted by the American Panel Of Dads, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear white sneakers after Labor Day.
“We hereby declare that it is not only suitable, but actually advisable, to wear white sneakers before, during and after Labor Day,” said an APOD spokesperson. “Regardless of what you may hear from the fashion police, white sneakers are always the height of taste and decorum.”
The panel set out a 20-page list of fashion rules associated with the sneakers, going into specific detail about fashion accessories such as fanny packs, jorts and jeans from 1998, all of which “pair extremely well” with basic New Balances or Nike Monarchs.
