52-year-old Paul Gordon of Neenah, Wisconsin announced to his family this week that he has decided to “splurge” and get himself a pair of “camping Crocs.”
The move comes as no surprise to his two daughters and wife, who have remarked how Gordon seems to have a different pair of Crocs for every occasion in his life. As his wife Kimberly stated, “He’s already got his ‘formal Crocs’ and his ‘casual Crocs’ and even a pair of ‘beach Crocs’ so, considering that he likes to go camping at least three times a summer, I’m frankly surprised it took him this long to get them.”
Gordon’s so-called camping Crocs are a regular pair of Crocs that happen to come with a camouflage color scheme, which Gordon insists will “help him blend in while out with nature.”
According to Gordon, the Crocs, which set Gordon back about $40, are expected to be used throughout the summer, but especially when he’s out camping since, “They are my camping Crocs, after all.”
