Dad Totally Into Fortnite After Learning About Crafting, Schematics

Frank Jones isn’t much of a gamer, but even he has become obsessed with Fortnite Battle Royale after learning players can build items.

“Dude, this game has schematics!” Jones exclaimed. “I mean, look at this. I’ve got my adhesive resin, nuts ‘n bolts and batteries. This is like the best game ever.”

Johnson, 38, has never actually killed another player, and spends his entire time crafting various items. Once he learned that duct tape was part of the game, he was instantly hooked.

“Yeah, now dad is always asking to partner up,” said his 14-year-old son. “But all he does is craft stuff and complain that they should make more realistic schematics like the ones he uses at work when he’s repairing air conditioners. It was cool at first, but I wish he could just go back to telling me games back in his day were way better.”
