Husband Doesn’t Know Why He’s Apologizing, But He’s Really Sorry

Local man Jeremy Barrett has been observed apologizing to his wife, Susan, for the better part of the afternoon, despite having absolutely no idea what he is apologizing for.

Barrett, who has been married for four years, came home from work Friday afternoon to find his wife asking if he “has anything to say” for himself, at which point, out of pure instinct, Barrett unequivocally and sincerely apologized, though he was not sure what he did to upset his partner.

When asked about the argument in question, Barrett stated, “Maybe I forgot to do the dishes or something yesterday? Either way, Susan was pretty ticked off, and I know if I ask ‘what did I do’ then that fight’s just going to escalate. I mean, I’m sure whatever I did that was wrong, it was pretty bad, so I am definitely sorry for doing that, whatever it was.”

Susan Barrett currently appears to have accepted her husband’s apology, though she has warned him to “never do anything like that again, you hear me?”
