Dad Who Forgot Anniversary Better Not Forget Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day fast approaching, residents of Youngstown, Ohio are keeping an eye on 49-year-old local dad Brendan Andrews, who disastrously forgot his wedding anniversary back in December and has been “on thin ice” ever since. Most observers agree that if Andrews forgets Mother’s Day as well, there’s going to be hell to pay.

“Oh yeah, Brendan absolutely better not forget Mother’s Day,” his sister-in-law Carol told reporters. “When he forgot their anniversary he was in the doghouse for a good week. If he forgets Mother’s Day as well, I’d say he better plan on moving his stuff out to the garage.”

Andrews has assured reporters, neighbors and family members that he will not “mess this up again,” and has already booked a reservation for the nicest restaurant in town on May 20th. Unfortunately, he realized far too late, Mother’s Day will take place on May 13th this year. He is hoping that flowers will suffice instead.
