Reports have surfaced indicating that Greg Lee, the 47-year-old father-of-two from Waukegan, Illinois, is still using Ask Jeeves, since re-branded as “Ask.com” as his primary search engine.
Lee, who has used the service since it first debuted in 1996, claims that he prefers Ask Jeeves to its competitors, claiming he “doesn’t trust” Google to carry out his searches.
“I don’t see why my search engine matters,” Lee told reporters. “I pretty much only use it to look up baseball stats of players I remember from the 90s, anyway. Oh, and sometimes I use it to get to my Yahoo email account.”
When asked what his thoughts were on the Microsoft search engine, Bing, Lee replied, “Oh, I use Bing sometimes too, I guess.”
