“You Make A Better Door Than A Window,” Dad Tells Family Dog

While watching a Wizards game last week, Rockville, Maryland resident and father-of-three Jim Andrews was overheard shouting at his Labrador Retriever, Sparky, that he, “Makes a better door than a window.”

“Dang it, Sparky, down. I’m trying to watch the game! You make a better door than a window,” Andrews said, completely aware of the fact that his dog has no idea what the phrase means, and in fact only has a vague grasp of the very concepts of doors and windows.

While sparky did eventually move once Andrews tossed a tennis ball, he returned to his spot in front of the TV right as John Wall put up a jump shot, at which point Andrews fumed, “Dang it, Sparky! What did I just say!?”
