Let’s be perfectly clear: a lighting display that plays some kickass tune (especially if it’s Trans-Siberian Orchestra) is undoubtedly badass.

There are dozens of examples on YouTube of dads who have managed to turn their houses into a Christmas show. Does it make for a great video? You betcha. But can you imagine living in that house? Or, ugh, across the street from the house?

It’s just too much, it’s too much man.

So when your dad spends the next five days on a ladder hanging up lights and almost breaking his back, be thankful he’s at least got some restraint compared to these dads.
