Multiple reports are coming in indicating that Goldie, the family dog of the Sharps, only will respond to commands of one person: 54-year-old father-of-three, Daniel Sharp. Sharp, who adopted the dog a year prior due to the nagging of his sons, aged 8, 10 and 12, apparently has connected with the dog in a way that no one else in the family has managed to accomplish.
“When dad first got the dog, he kept saying, ‘This is your pet,'” son Anthony claims. “He kept saying we’d have to take care of it and walk it. But now, dad plays with Goldie more than anyone, and Goldie won’t listen to anyone else in the house.”
Goldie reportedly follows Sharp around the house at all times, while Sharp pets Goldie more than everyone else in the house combined, and also often feeds the dog table scraps even though he specifically told his children not to do that when the dog first arrived.
When asked to comment, Daniel Sharp simply shrugged and said, “What? Of course he listens to me. Goldie’s a good dog.”
