In a move that came about six months later than it should have, local dad Keith Ericson finally caved in and changed the magnification of his phone’s text from 250% to a more easy-to-read 1000%.
“Guess the peepers ain’t what they used to be,” Ericson joked as he finished changing the view settings on his phone while squinting and wearing reading glasses.
The new text size, which fits roughly two words, or one moderately long word, on the screen at a time and requires constant scrolling, is “much better,” Ericson reported.
When asked if he plans on investing in bifocal glasses to make it easier to read, he scoffed and said, “Are you kidding? That’s old man stuff. You should talk to Mr. Ericson about that. I’m referring to my dad, there.”
